Islamist sect, ISIS have claimed responsibility for the London terror attack that occurred on Saturday night, according to SITE Intelligence Group.
The group, which tranlasted a statement on the terror group's propaganda outlet, Amaq News Agency, confirmed the group's involvement.
In the statement, ISIS confirmed that a “detachment” of its fighters carried out the atrocity, in which seven people were killed and 48 were wounded.
The group said the incident was in line with the call on its followers to carry out increased terror attacks around the world during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The three attackers, yet to be officially named, were shot dead at the scene by police.
It can also be recalled that ISIS also claimed responsibility for the Manchester and Westminster attacks.
