We will sign a maximum of three, Wenger says as he prepares for next season

Arsene Wenger have said there will only be a "maximum of three" signings this summer, despite missing out on qualifying for the Champions league.

Speaking to BeIn Sports, after over seeing a campaign that saw him miss Champions league football for the first time in twenty years and calls for his removal, the Gunners boss suggested that it will be a case of evolution rather than revolution at Emirates Stadium.

The Frenchman will be under pressure to challenge for the Premier League title in 2017-18, while keeping the Gunners in the running for domestic cup success.

He will also oversee a Europa League campaign, a strange place to be in after 20 years of Champions league football.
