Insider reports have claimed that robbers have attacked a hostel in Abia State University, Uturu.
According to a post in a WhatsApp group that contained students of the school, one of the students claimed that a girl was raped, with one stabbed and phones and ATM cards were snatched when the robbers attacked "Hostel F".
Adding, the student also claimed that robbers came with POS machines.
According to another student, the robbers had come for another girl, who had "insulted" a guy but no one seems to know them.
also, it was learnt that the girl raped was a virgin and was a 300-level student of the institution and also an exco of one of the numerous fellowships, Kingdom Diplomats (KD).
