Nigeria's Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo have said that government alone can't support universities to the extent required nor keep them at the current level.
Speaking on Friday at the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Awards and Celebration of the University of Lagos added that he was excited to see a lot of committed alumni of the University of Lagos "who want to see to it that our University goes from glory to glory" and was equally excited to see that the institution's fundraising project had clearly shown the way to go with respect to developing the nation's universities.
The vice president also said he was excited to see a lot of committed alumni of the University of Lagos "who want to see to it that our University goes from glory to glory."
