The Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine has been jointly awarded to three men,
Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash and Michael W. Young “for their discoveries of molecular mechanisms controlling the circadian rhythm”.
Jeffrey C. Hall, of the University of Maine, Michael Rosbash, of Brandeis University, Waltham and Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and Michael W. Young, of Rockefeller University were awarded the price by the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet today.
