GOODNEWS! Premier League to RESTART June 17th

The Premier League os set to resume on 17 June, according to reports from the BBC.

It would start with the two fixtures at hand, with the full fixture list then be played on the weekend of 19-21 June.

It can be recalled that the Premier League was suspended on 13 March because of the covid 19 pandemic, better known as corona virus.

There are 92 fixtures yet to be played. On Wednesday, clubs unanimously voted to resume contact training.

However, 12 people have tested positive for coronavirus after 2,752 tests across the league.

Premier League players and staff will continue to be tested twice a week, with the capacity increased from 50 to 60 tests per club for the fourth round of testing.

Any players or staff to test positive must self-isolate for a period of seven days.

With a lose to Arsenal, Manchester City can hand tbe title to league leaders Liverpool.
