Osagie Ize-Iyamu becomes consensus candidate for APC faction loyal to Oshiomhole



A former Governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state, now in the ruling All Progresives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, have emerged the consensus candidate of the faction of the party loyal to the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

He will face off the sitting Governor, Godwin Obasaki in the party primaries later on.

According to reports from the Nation News, Ize-Iyamu, a former Secretary to Edo State Government (SSG), emerged on Tuesday night in Abuja through consensus arrangement.

The internal APC turmoil has opened them up to controversies as PDP strategizes on how to take over the state and consolidate their powers across the South South.
