Democratic Party's Presidential candidate, and former Vice President, Joe Biden, have won the US Presidential election, beating President Donald Trump, a Republican, to clinch the needed Electoral College votes to win the Presidency.
Mr Biden is now projected to have secured 284 Electoral College votes, according to the Associated Press, well above the needed 270 votes to win.
This remains an election with the highest turnout, as over one hundred million people voted in the midst of the corona virus epidemic, which have killed millions in the country.
Mr Trump have now joined the ranks of one term presidents in the history of the United States.
