Two commercial pilots have claimed to have seen an
unidentified flying object fly pass them overhead, according to a radio
broadcast released by the US Federal Aviation Administration.
According to reports from CNN, a Learjet pilot and an
American Airlines pilot both saw the object on February 24th and
radioed the regional air traffic controller.
Strangely, both airplanes were flying over the Arizona
Desert at different times yet reported the strange object flying over them.
According to the control tower, the American Airline pilot
said he wasn’t sure “whether it was a balloon or whatnot”. He only described it
as having “a big reflection” and “travelling several thousand feet above us,
going the opposite direction.”
The strange encounter happened not far from the US town of
Roswell, New York, synonymous with extraterrestrial activity in 1947 after
reports of crashing of a flying object in a field.
