All Progressive Congress (APC) delegates representing the South East geopolitical region have rejected an invitation from Presidential hopeful, Bola Tinubu.
According to the delegates, this was based on the fact their region was sidelined in Mr Tinubu's nationwide tour, so the favour was returned.
“We have asked him what disdain he has for our region that makes it impossible for him to visit us,” an APC delegate who received the invitation disclosed to newsoutlet, Peoples Gazette.
“We won’t be going to him in Abuja because he isolated our region during his nationwide tour.”
It can be recalled that Mr Tinubu have made multiple visits to the party's delegates ahead of the party's presidential primary. He visited Kano, Adamawa, Delta, Ondo, and Kwara.
