Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, have arrived Plateau State, the site of horrific killings of over 200 persons by Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.
It can be recalled that Fulani herdsmen killed over 200 people in Razat, Ruku, Nyarr, Kura and Gana-Ropp villages of Gashish District in Barkin Ladi Local Government.
However, according to Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, who made this disclosure via his Twitter handle, the Nigeria First Citizen have arrived in the troubled state.
Ahmed wrote, ”President @MBuhari arrives Jos, Plateau State. #SecuringNC #SecuringNG.”
Buhari is expected to meet with community leaders, traditional rulers, representatives of various stakeholder groups, and security chiefs.
