2019: PDP Presidential aspirant asks for N200 "sacrifice" from Nigerians to fund nomination form purchase

A Presidential aspirant under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) have appealed to Nigerians for N200 each to purchase his nomination form.

Hamidu Tafida made the appeal in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital while declaring for the highest office in the country.

Tafida made the appeal in Jalingo, Taraba State, on Saturday while declaring his intention to contest the 2019 presidential election.

“I wish to officially make public my intention to run for the presidency of Nigeria.

“Let me appeal to one million Nigerians to put together N200 each and purchase nomination form for me to enable me actualise this ambition for the good of all.”

Tafida noted that Nigerians should be wise and resist attempts by “political merchants” to continue to stifle the country’s development.

“Nigerians have suffered enough; it is time to make sacrifices for a better society,” he said.
