A former Governor, and Senator representing Plateau Central in the National Assembly, Senator Joshua Dariye, who is currently serving a 14-year jail term at Kuje Prison, Abuja have received his nomination form to contest for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.
Reporting, online platform, Hope for Nigeria wrote:
"In a normal situation, it is morally and legally inconceivable for a convict to engage in party politics not to talk of vying to be a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.
For an anti-corruption fighting Buhari’s government and APC, anything is possible, as they may manipulate the Appeal court to allow Dariye to contest the 2019 Senatorial election.”
