We will arrest any one who obeys IPOB sit-at-home order in Imo, police warns

The Nigerian Police Force, Imo State Command have wanted that it will arrest anyone who breaks the law by compiling with the order by the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) for a sit-at-home in remembrance of "Biafran heroes".

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Dasuki Galadanchi, issued the warning during a joint news conference by heads of security agencies in the state on Monday in Owerri.

Galadanchi urged the residents to disregard the order and added that police would not allow such order to stand in Imo.

It can be recalled that IPOB recently announced Sept. 14 as a remembrance day for the "Biafran heroes" and gave a sit-at-home order in the South-East.
