WESTLIFE IS BACK! Pop group announces comeback after SIX years breakup

British pop group, Westlife, have annouced a reunion after months of speculation, six years after their split.

The group, which includes 39-year-old Shane Filan, 38-year-old Kian Egan and 38-year-old Mark Feehily, have annouced in 2012 that they were going their separate ways.

The four-piece have now revealed reunion plans just days after former bandmate Brian McFadden, 38, was announced for the latest series of Dancing On Ice.

In a short video posted to their 264,000 Twitter followers, Shane, Kian, Mark and Nicky are seen sitting on their famous stools as they greet each other.

“Hi, we’re Westlife,” three of the band members bellow in unison as Nicky stands up, joking: “I thought we were doing a key change.”

The screen then turns black to reveal their band name, with “new music. new tour,” being teased.

One wrote: “Omg omg omg I am crying,” alongside a crying emoji for each member.

A second fan shared: “OMG god I’ve never been so happy in my life.”

“Welcome Back!!! See you soon!! Nothing has changed! Love you guys!!,” a third wrote alongside the hashtag: #WestlifeReunion.

A final fan wrote: “I am so happy right now. I love you so much THANK YOU.”
