Jose Mourinho, a former manager for London-based football club, have described Arsene Wenger, a former manager of rival club Arsenal and with whom he had a frosty relationship with during their managerial days, as one of the best football managers in the world.
During his time at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, manage over 1,000 games, won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, which included a historic unbeaten Premier League season as they won the title in 2004.
However, the Portuguese, who had competed against Wenger, and once infamously called him a "specialist in failure", was full of praises for the Frenchman.
"There were some episodes along the road. I can only speak by myself. I really enjoyed the competition. But the real respect was always there.
“He made lots of history in that football club. The nickname is there – the ‘Invincibles.’ Amazing. A coaching philosophy, the almost perfect team. He is one of the best football managers in the history of football,” Mourinho said.
