Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) have dissociated itself from the N10k given to UNN’s Best Graduating Medical student.
The Nigerian bank made the disclosure on its official Twitter handle, thereby clearing the controversy the prize money has sparked.
It can be recalled that the best graduating student of University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka was presented with a cheque of N10,000 which sparked a debate on why the winner of Big Brother Naija will be presented with N25 million while a future leader will be given "peanuts".
