Enugu have re-elected Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as her Governor, with the incumbent beating rivals in all seventeen local government areas of the state.
According to results announced at the State Collation Centre office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Enugu, and collated by Prof. Joseph Ahanekwu, the Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, the State Collation Officer, the Governor, who contested under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) got 449,935 votes out of 478,241 accredited voters.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) scored a meagre 10,423.
The 17 local government collation officers said there no incident of violence or complaint from any of the political parties.
Final pronouncement on the election is being awaited. Total number of registered voters as 1,944,803
