IT IS NOT FAIR! Tottenham's coach speaks against the rest given to Ajax by their football authority

Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino have spoken as the weekend off given to their Champions League semi-final opponent, Ajax, by their league, terming it as "not fair".

The London based club will host another London based club, West Ham United, on Saturday, before facing Ajax at home on Tuesday for the first leg of their semi-final clash.

It can be recalled that football authorities in the Netherlands, Ajax's home country, had postponed this weekend’s Eredivisie fixtures to give Ajax more time to prepare for the game.

"It is difficult. I understand that in this type of situation everyone can have an opinion,” Spurs boss Pochettino told reporters at his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“I know very well the Premier League and FA have tried to help. It’s true that the Premier League is very different from the Dutch league, the fact or the reality is they are not going to play. I think it’s not fair.”
