#AnambraDecides: APGA retains Anmabra, as former CBN Governor wins Gubertorial polls



Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressives Grand Alliance  (APGA) have won the Anambra State Gubertorial election with 112,229 votes, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The former Central Bank of Nigeria  (CBN) governor beat ruling party's Sen. Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress, who came a distant third in the race and People's Democratic Party's  (PDP) Valentine Ozigbo, who came second on the polls.

This was a hotly contested election, which saw eighteen contestants for the highly contested seat. Senator Ifenayi Uba of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have won one LGA each.
