APGA suspends lawmaker for "anti party activities"

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) have suspended one of its members,and a lawmaker representing Aba South Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Clinton Ebere for anti party activities.
The suspension, which was announced in a statement made available to newsmen and signed by the state chairman of APGA, Rev. Austin Ehiemere, never indicated the reason for the lawmaker's suspension but a source close to the party leadership in Abia alleged that Honorable Ebere was suspended for anti-party activities.
The party advised all APGA members and stakeholders in the state to take note of the lawmaker’s suspension.
“The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State wishes to announce the immediate suspension of it’s House of Assembly member Representing Aba South State Constituency, in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Clinton Ebere for anti party activities.
“The party therefore advises all APGA members, stakeholders and indeed the general public to take note of this development and be properly guided.
“The party shall however keep everyone posted on further developments in respect to Hon. Ebere’s suspension," the statement reads.
